New Siena boss Marco Giampaolo cant wait to get started on the Robur bench, but knows he has a tough task ahead.
The Tuscan minnows secured survival with ease last season under the guidance of Mario Beretta.
But despite Berettas heroics, Siena opted to send the former Chievo man packing and have turned to Giampaolo, who was sacked by Cagliari last November.
Its a new adventure and I want to get started again, Giampaolo told Radio Centro Suono Sport.
Theres a lot of enthusiasm here. Beretta has left me a good inheritance, but also a difficult one.
I want to do a good job and get results, but our objective will be survival. We will be fired up motivation wont be a problem.
Giampaolos first transfer target seems to be Lazio-owned winger Pasquale Foggia, who spent last season on loan to Cagliari.
He is an extraordinary talent, the Swiss-born tactician admitted. I have seen him in several phases of his career and I believe that he has all the qualities to do well in the coming years.
