Davide Ballardini knows it will be very tough to face Cagliari in a head-to-head for Europa Cup spots tomorrow.
The two teams are tied together on 49 points, just three shy of sixth-placed Roma, and clash in Sicily on Sunday afternoon.
Many people talk of this as a crucial game in the race for Europe, but I do not agree, insisted the Rosanero Coach.
It will be a very tough encounter, they are doing extremely well at the moment, but it will not be decisive for our objectives.
Mark Bresciano, Igor Budan and suspended duo Cesare Bovo and Moris Carrozzieri are out of this clash.
Carrozzieri is out after testing positive for cocaine and is not yet sure how long he will be banned for.
I hope to get [Antonio] Nocerino fit again, but I'll have to wait for the final training session to be sure, added Ballardini.
Marco Amelia and Roberto Guana have recovered and are ready to start.
Palermo squad: Ujkani, Amelia; Cassani, Cossentino, Kjaer, Savini, Morganella, Balzaretti; Tedesco, Migliaccio, Liverani, Guana, Simplicio, Nocerino; Cavani, Miccoli, Succi, Hernandez, Mchedlidze.
