| Jorgensen gets Viola renewal |

Fiorentina winger Martin Jorgensen has finally been handed a contract renewal with the Viola.
The 33-year-old has always stressed his desire to remain with the Tuscans, but the club have been reticent to offer a new deal.
However, Jorgensen was decisive against Lecce with a crucial equaliser last weekend and that seems to have spurred the Gigliati into action.
Jorgensen, whose deal was set to expire this summer, is now bound to Fiorentina until the July 2010.
The decision has been greeted warmly by club captain Riccardo Montolivo.
“I am very happy,” he beamed. “Every week I had been asking him what was going on and he didn't know how to reply.
“He has always been a great protagonist for us and so I am really pleased for him.”
