| Aquilani renews Roma deal |

After a lengthy wait, Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani has extended his contract with the Giallorossi.
The 24-year-old had been waiting for months to finalise the details of a new deal to end speculation that he could leave the Stadio Olimpico in the summer.
And Roma's official website has announced that Aquilani has finally agreed a new deal with the Lupi.
Aquilani is set to earn £3.2m for this season, £3.6m for 2009-10, £3.9m for 2010-11 and £4.5m for the following two campaigns.
The homegrown ace could earn more still should the Eternal City side achieve decent results.
The news of Aquilani's new deal will surely prevent the stream of stories linking the midfielder with Juventus and Inter.
