Roberto Mancini is keen to stay on as Inter boss, according to his agent Giorgio De Giorgis.
With Jose Mourinho showing interest in the Beneamata job, Mancio's position has been questioned recently.
He is very happy at Inter and has a four-year contract. He just won a third title and they are also going to try to win the Champions League too, insisted De Giorgis.
Chelsea are amongst the top five clubs in the world with a phenomenal President, but there is no truth whatsoever that there has been contact with them.
Those rumors are unfounded. If there is anybody that went to make noises to Chelsea, it was not authorised by Mancini.
Following these comments, President Massimo Moratti added: In my opinion he will stay. He is a good person and I have plenty of admiration for him.
But while De Giorgis and Moratti deny the departure of Mancini, Portuguese newspaper A Bola claims that Mourinho has already agreed terms with the Nerazzurri.
According to these reports, the former Chelsea manager will sign a three-year contract worth £7m per season and has already requested the arrival of Frank Lampard and Deco.
Meanwhile, Walter Samuel and Paolo Orlandoni have extended their contracts with Inter. The Argentine will stay at San Siro until 2012, while the 36-year-old goalkeeper renewed his contract until June 2009.
