| Dunga to Dinho: Play more games |
Friday 22 May, 2009 |
|
Brazil boss Carlos Dunga has explained the reason why he snubbed Ronaldinho when picking his latest squad.
Milan man Dinho has had a less than successful first season in Italy and has been tipped to find a fresh start this summer.
The former Barcelona star's lack of form has cost him his place in the national side as he hasn't been selected for the Confederations Cup or the upcoming 2010 World Cup qualifiers.
He needs to play more, Dunga insisted. I hope that next season he will be able to find more regular first-team football and return to being the player we all know.
Former Milan striker Ronaldo also didn't make the list despite his spectacular rejuvenation at Corinthians.
He hasn't been back from injury long, Dunga said. He will only be considered when he is fully ready.
