| Senderos praises Maldini |

Milan defender Philippe Senderos has hailed veteran Paolo Maldini, stating that it has been an “honour” to play alongside him.
Maldini will finally retire this summer at the age of 40 and on-loan stopper Senderos has relished the chance to learn from the calcio legend.
“It has been an honour playing with Maldini as he is part of the club's history,” Senderos told Sky Sport Italia.
“He has been the talisman of this club for many years and it will be hard for them to cope without him in future as he has such great influence in and out of the dressing room.
“Maldini gives you added motivation and he still has the drive to do his best at this age.
“Sometimes I am tired when I arrive for training in the morning, but Maldini is there to inspire me.
“I can never be negative with Maldini around because he is such an example.”
