Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino has revealed he is ready to make the jump from provincial football to the big time.
The 26-year-old former Roma youngster has been in superb form this season, scoring eight goals in 31 appearances in Serie A.
D'Agostino plays just behind the strikers and his recent performances have attracted the attention of Italy's big clubs.
When asked to describe how he feels about being linked with a move to Napoli, D'Agostino replied: It makes me happy, it's a great place.
The Palermo born starlet got really excited, though, when he heard Italian champions Inter are also interested in him.
Inter are the strongest team in Italy, D'Agostino enthused. If you aspire to play for a club of the best rate, Inter are at the top.
If an opportunity to go there arises I will evaluate it together with Udinese's lawyer Signore Rodella.
I feel more than ready to make the big jump in class. I am not afraid of the competition, he explained.
But I will only move from Udine for a club of the highest level, otherwise I will stay at Friuli without any problems. Udinese believed in me and I will never stop thanking them for that.
