Ibra will stay, says Moratti
Monday 18 May, 2009

Inter President Massimo Moratti is convinced he can persuade want away striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic [pictured] to stay at San Siro.

The Sweden international is disappointed with the Nerazzurri after they failed to progress beyond the Champions League Second Round.

He reportedly no longer feels Inter can win the greatest trophy in European football and would like a new experience.

“I think that he will stay, I hope he has the desire to do just that because our project is important,” Moratti said.

Ibrahimovic has enjoyed his best ever season in Italy, scoring 22 Serie A goals in 33 starting appearances.
