| Prandelli snipes at Pazzini |

Cesare Prandelli continued the feud with Giampaolo Pazzini as the Sampdoria striker returns to Florence for the first time. Since he was sold to Samp during the January transfer window following a fractious rapport with his Coach, Pazzini has gone from strength to strength and even earned a call-up to the Nazionale. As far as I am concerned, it will be a cordial and affectionate salute, insisted Prandelli. I have always said I cared about him and will always be there for him, no matter what. However, when told that Pazzini had said someone in Florence is bitter about my goals, the response was clear. We have one of the contenders for the Capocannoniere title and are fourth in the table. I'm sorry, but I am certainly not the one feeling bitter right now. As Sampdoria make the trip without Antonio Cassano and are tired from the Coppa Italia Final midweek, can Fiorentina count on the three points? Let's all calm down here. I don't trust Sampdoria, as they will be very angry after losing the Coppa. We must maintain our concentration and hope to enjoy the same atmosphere as when we beat Roma, a stadium covered in purple. We haven't achieved anything yet and making a mistake here would be like scoring an own goal. Meanwhile, there are reports Fiorentina have already agreed a contract with Inter outcast Hernan Crespo. Of course I have the utmost respect and admiration for Crespo as a person and a player. |
