Inter are the Champions of Italy for a fourth consecutive season and were able to celebrate on President Massimo Moratti's birthday.
The Nerazzurri knew they would take the Scudetto if they beat Siena on Sunday evening, but they didn't even need to wait that long.
Milan's 2-1 defeat at Udinese tonight meant the seven-point gap is insurmountable with only two rounds left, so Inter have won the title.
Jose Mourinho confirmed his squad would be watching the game together at the Pinetina training ground, where the players and Coach traditionally stay the night before a match.
The champagne corks will be popping, above all for President Moratti, who today celebrates his 64th birthday.
It is Inter's 17th Serie A title, the fourth on the trot, although the 2006 edition was handed to them via the courts in the Calciopoli scandal.
This is a particularly special number, as it allows Inter to catch Milan in the record of all-time winners, though both lag behind Juventus on 27.
Mourinho has won the Scudetto at his first attempt on a Serie A bench. Footage from Inter Channel showed the entire squad gathered around the television celebrating the final whistle.
Mourinho was also spotted jumping up and down with his players and President Moratti as champagne was sprayed around the room.
They were all performing the kind of chants that are regularly heard in the stadium, such as 'I Campioni dell'Italia siamo noi!' (We are the Champions of Italy).
