Atalanta forward Antonio Langella is close to agreeing a move to Udinese, according to his agent.
The 31-year-old, who has three Azzurri caps, moved to Bergamo last summer after five years and over 100 appearances for Cagliari.
But Langella has failed to settle at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia and seems set to move east to Udine.
“Antonio has never really discussed renewing his contract at Atalanta,” agent Claudio De Nicola explained on Radio Kiss Kiss Naples.
“Lots of offers have arrived over the last few months. The player has decided on a fresh start and I can tell you that negotiations are advancing with Udinese, who have been watching him since last January.
“Their President Giampaolo Pozzo has offered him a four-year deal and is ready to complete the deal. We are just waiting for the end of the season.”
