While refusing to take sides in the title race, Juventus No 1 Gigi Buffon feels that Roma have been more entertaining to watch than Inter this season.
With one week remaining, Inter remain clear favourites to clinch the Scudetto, but the Giallorossi have cut their advantage to a single point.
Many neutrals in the peninsula will be cheering the capital club on this Sunday due to their fluid football and it seems that Azzurri shot-stopper Buffon will be amongst them.
“Whatever the final outcome, it will be fair because both sides are excellent,” Buffon stated, “But Roma have played the better football.
“I can’t say which side I will be supporting, but the Juventus fans have made it clear whose side they are on.
“When Siena equalised to make it 2-2 against Inter last weekend they celebrated as if we had scored.”
Juventus take on Sampdoria in Genoa with only pride at stake this Saturday evening – a game which was moved due to the Pope’s visit to the Ligurian city.
