Inter boss Jose Mourinho wants to celebrate the Scudetto by bringing in Arsenal ace Cesc Fabregas and Chelsea's John Obi Mikel.
The Nerazzurri are closing in on the title and will be crowned champions barring a remarkable collapse.
But in order to achieve the primary objective of European supremacy next season, Mourinho wants to add Arsenal's Spanish star Fabregas.
According to The Daily Express, Inter are moving towards a £16.6m swoop for Nigerian international Mikel and Mourinho wants to partner him with Fabregas.
The report suggests that Mourinho contacted Arsenal days after their Champions League elimination at the hands of Manchester United to discuss a possible transfer.
The Beneamata are allegedly ready to table a bid of nearly £40m, but the Gunners are resisting any approach and claim that Fabregas isn't for sale at any price.
