| Mexes commits to Roma |

Roma centre-back Philippe Mexes insists he wants to stay at the club despite strong interest from Milan.
The 27-year-old France international joined the Giallorossi from Auxerre in 2004 and is a fans' favourite.
However, Roma tend to sell one of their stars at the end of each season and Mexes could well be next.
Milan have long been admirers of his talent and need a centre-back, as Paolo Maldini approaches retirement and Alessandro Nesta struggles for fitness.
I am not leaving. I will also stay next year, Mexes told Il Messaggero. I have a contract until 2011 and I want to respect it.
Mexes has endured a difficult campaign with Roma, who currently lie sixth in Serie A with three games remaining this season.
