Cagliari have already achieved the impossible by escaping the drop zone, but Davide Ballardini won’t rest until it’s mathematically secure.
The Sardinians seemed dead certs for relegation, propping up the table up until Week 29 and only escaping the bottom three on April 13.
“We’re not there yet, there’s still work to be done and points to be won,” warned the Coach ahead of today’s trip to Udinese.
“We will remain concentrated on our match and then, only at the final whistle, will we listen to the other results and see where we stand.”
Some would suggest Udinese have nothing to play for in this game, as they are already qualified for the UEFA Cup.
“I think we’ll encounter a fired up opponent who will want to further improve their position in the table.
“Udinese are a team who tend to take risks, so we will be balanced and try not to give them too much space. We’ll play our game the way we always have, without asking who it is we are facing.”
