Siena boss Mario Beretta admits it’s a tough ask for his team to stop Inter from winning the Scudetto, but they will give it their best shot.
Roma are hoping for a miracle on Sunday, as if the Nerazzurri win then the title is mathematically sewn up.
“Even in a normal time of the season this would be a difficult task,” mused Beretta on Radio Deejay.
“So imagine against a side that wants to take the Scudetto in a sold out stadium. It’s going to be incredibly tough.
“Having said that, we will try to win the match, albeit knowing the odds are stacked against us.”
Siena have nothing left to play for, as last weekend they mathematically secured their Serie A safety.
They could well be the title deciders in any case, as they have already beaten Roma and Juventus this term.
