Sampdoria sporting director Beppe Marotta claims that Giampaolo Pazzini's value has doubled in his short time at the club.
Pazzini signed from Fiorentina for £7m during the transfer window after a frustrating period of inactivity at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Alongside Antonio Cassano, Pazzini has thrived and he scored a crucial brace in Samp's 3-0 Coppa Italia win over Inter last night.
I really think Pazzini's value has already doubled in his time here, Marotta said on Rai Sport.
I'm not surprised that he is doing so well here - we always knew what great potential he had.
He is also a player who has a lot of room for improvement, so I am confident that he can score even more goals.
Former Azzurrini ace Pazzini scored 25 goals in 108 games for Fiorentina but already has nine in all competitions for Sampdoria.
