Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has insisted that the Rossoneri have to treat their last 12 Serie A games like Cup Finals.
The European and Club World Cup champions were defeated by late goals from Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas and Emmanuel Adebayor to end their hold on the Champions League on Tuesday.
“I didn't sleep last night,” explained Galliani. “But this morning I wanted to thank everyone for six wonderful years in the Champions League. By Sunday we have to have a positive attitude.”
Referring to the Diavoli's remaining fixtures in Serie A and their quest for fourth place, the former surveyor announced: “Twelve Cup Finals await us.
“We will play to the death and hope to find ourselves listening to the same old Champions League music. This is our objective.”
The 63-year-old looked to take the weight off his players by acknowledging the difficulties faced this season ahead of their match away to Empoli at the weekend.
“To win two consecutive European Cups is almost impossible,” he concluded.
