Genoa ace Diego Milito faces a spell on the sidelines, but Grifone boss Gian Piero Gasperini claims his men can do without him.
The Prince has been Genoa's key man this season with 16 goals in 25 appearances.
But Milito picked up an injury during Argentina's 4-0 win against Venezuela in a World Cup 2010 qualifier.
It is a shame because we all know that Diego is an important player for us, Gasperini told the club's website.
We must not let ourselves get discouraged and we need to look forward rather than backward.
We have been told that Milito has sustained a muscular injury and could be out for around three weeks.
Genoa take on bottom side Reggina this weekend looking to preserve their two-point lead over fifth-placed Fiorentina.
