| Ranieri wants to close gap |
Tuesday 24 March, 2009 |

Claudio Ranieri feels his Juventus side must reduce Inter's advantage before the Derby d'Italia next month if they are to remain in the title race.
The Bianconeri trail Inter by seven points after both sides again picked up maximum points last weekend.
Juve host their bitter rivals in one of Italian football's biggest games on April 19, but the Scudetto could already be as good as decided by then.
We can't just hope that the very strong team in front of us throw away the title, Ranieri explained in La Repubblica.
The Scudetto is certainly Inter's to lose now, but we have to be ready to take advantage if they slip up.
Juve-Inter could be a decisive match, I hope so. It will be more interesting for everyone if the gap between us is smaller.
If things stay like this then it will just be an important match between the leaders and the runners-up.
Hopefully we can get Mauro Camoranesi, Claudio Marchisio and Nicola Legrottaglie back from injury after the international break - that would be very important.
Injury problems have affected every team in Italy and all over the world, it's not just a Juventus problem.
