Cristiano Zanetti will be able to face Fiorentina this weekend after the Juventus midfielder’s ban was halved.
The former Inter man had seen red for kicking out at Nicola Amoruso during the 2-1 loss to Reggina last week and was handed a two-match suspension.
However, an appeal was accepted by the FIGC and the ban reduced to just one Serie A round.
Zanetti has already sat that game out, missing the midweek Turin derby a goalless draw with the Granata.
This means he is available for Sunday’s grudge match with Fiorentina.
It is an important piece of news for Coach Claudio Ranieri, who has Giorgio Chiellini and Pavel Nedved suspended.
Nedved is out for two games after he was sent off against Torino for pulling Gianluca Comotto’s hair.
