Inter have released an official statement denying they have attempted to tap up Arsenals Alexander Hleb.
There were reports in The Guardian and Daily Mirror this morning that the Gunners are considering reporting the Nerazzurri to UEFA for an illegal approach.
Hleb was spotted leaving the team hotel the night before the Champions League clash at San Siro with agent Claudio Vigorelli and headed for the Inter headquarters in Via Durini.
"It's true that Hleb saw Vigorelli and they went out from the Melia Felix but it's not true that they went to talk to Inter Milan," said his associate Vincenzo Morabito.
"They went for an ice-cream. We are sorry that Mr Wenger took it badly and complained because we have a good relationship with him."
Inter have also moved to deny the accusations with an official statement released on their website.
With regards to stories reported in newspaper La Stampa and several British papers, F.C. Internazionale categorically deny these claims.
We have never met the football player Alexandre Hleb, let alone received a letter of protest from Arsenal.
