The arbitration court has rejected former Juventus director Luciano Moggis appeal against his five-year ban from football.
Moggi was indicted by the Calciopoli verdicts of 2006 when Juve were found guilty of trying to influence the allocation of referees in Serie A.
The respected transfer guru became the personification of corruption in calcio in the eyes of many and he announced that he had quit the world of football.
However, the 70-year-old hardly left the public eye before he began criticising the current leadership at Juve and he has been hinting at a return to the game with a different club.
Todays ruling has dealt a serious blow to that plan, as Moggi will definitely be exiled from the game until 2011.
The failure in the courts will also hit Moggi in the wallet with a fine of £30,000 waiting to be paid.
