Sampdoria striker Giampaolo Pazzini is upset after his side threw away their lead against Roma on Sunday afternoon.
The Blucerchiati fell behind after just seven minutes, but Pazzini scored twice before half-time to put his side in front.
However, Roma levelled from the penalty spot midway through the second half and the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
I scored another two goals, it's just a shame because I thought they would have been decisive, Pazzini said.
I kept trying following their equaliser, but I believe Doni made a super save. It's a real shame because we played a great first half and the penalty condemned us.
The team played a great game, but the result feels a lot like a wasted opportunity, Pazzini concluded.
The 24-year-old striker has been in excellent form for Sampdoria since joining from Fiorentina in the January transfer window.
He has scored seven goals in his first nine games for the club and is staking a claim for a place in Marcello Lippi's Italy squad.
