Friday 13 March, 2009 | | Udinese goal hero Antonio Di Natale hailed a well-deserved victory over Zenit St Petersburg.
The Friulani beat the Russian holders 2-0 thanks to a late Fabio Quagliarella goal and a Di Natale penalty.
We played brilliantly and although it seemed destined to end 0-0 we worked hard and got what we deserved, Di Natale told Sky Sport Italia.
I was relieved that the penalty went well because I knew how fundamental it was.
Now we can go to Russia with our two-goal advantage. We must just remain calm and positive and show the same passion that we did tonight.
If we can replicate this performance then we will be guaranteed to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Udinese's next outing is a home fixture against Catania this weekend.
