Cristiano Ronaldo: We'll win 3-1
Wednesday 11 March, 2009

Cristiano Ronaldo has boldly predicted the outcome of tonight's Manchester United-Inter battle.

There's everything to play for at Old Trafford after a 0-0 at San Siro in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 clash.

Inter boss Jose Mourinho is well acquainted with his opponents as he has faced them as Chelsea manager and Porto Coach.

“In 2004, Porto won thanks to the referee, but this time we will win 3-1,” Ronaldo declared.

“Will Zlatan Ibrahimovic win the Ballon d'Or? For the moment it is happy with me.”

The Portuguese ace was linked with Inter early in his career before he signed with Manchester United.

“I was close to Inter, but Arsenal and Juventus were also interested,” Ronaldo said.

“Luis Suarez came to Lisbon to see me, but then my agent told me that Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to sign me at all costs and I chose Manchester United.

“Would I ever move to Italy? I would happily go there because they have the most beautiful and sexy women in the world.

“Jokes aside, I like Italy and Italian football after all the Azzurri are the world champions.”
