Doni has no fear of Gunners
Tuesday 10 March, 2009

Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni insists he isn't scared of Arsenal's attacking options ahead of tomorrow's Champions League encounter.

The Giallorossi lost 1-0 to the Gunners in the first leg of their last 16 clash but will look to turn things around at the Stadio Olimpico.

Coach Luciano Spalletti is without a number of key men, including Cicinho, Simone Perrotta, Max Tonetto, Marco Cassetti, Christian Panucci and Daniele De Rossi.

However, despite additional worries over the fitness of captain Francesco Totti, Mirko Vucinic and Alberto Aquilani, Doni is confident.

“I am not worried about the Gunners' attack because we can count on our strong defence,” the Brazilian custodian told The Daily Mirror.

“The atmosphere at the Stadio Olimpico will be amazing and it will be an extra weapon for us.

“Arsenal are very attack-minded and we will have several chances to hit them.

“I am confident that we will dominate the match and go through.”
