Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani believes the Diavolo have dominated the transfer market in Italy this summer as he looks for a big-name striker.
The Diavolo need to make sweeping changes after finishing outside the Champions League qualification zone.
They have already been active in the market and now Galliani is tracking one final acquisition in the form of a top-class hitman.
It seems to me that Milan can be considered the side that have done best in the market up to now, he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. I dont think any other Italian club has done what we have.
We have brought back a striker in Marco Borriello who scored 19 goals last season and I dont think that is less important than a signing.
Then we have brought home goalkeeper Christian Abbiati and purchased wing-back Gianluca Zambrotta and a great midfielder in Mathieu Flamini.
Now we will see if we can achieve our objective of signing another great striker.
Arsenal front man Emmanuel Adebayor is the new name to be suggested and there were rumours today that the player had accepted the move, leaving the two clubs to come to an agreement.
There is a rule that states that you cant make a private agreement with a player who is under contract with another club, Galliani scoffed.
I dont know whether a new striker will arrive from England we will see.
