Dinho heads for Nou Camp exit
Monday 30 June, 2008

Barcelona ace Ronaldinho seems to have bade farewell to the Catalan giants, possibly ahead of a move to Milan.

The mutual affection between the Rossoneri and Ronaldinho has been evident for months, but there have been no concrete negotiations.

However, the Brazilian star seems to have decided that he won’t be playing at the Nou Camp next term and it is now up to the Diavolo to make the next move.

“It was a stupendous story with Barcelona, given everything that we won,” Dinho told Rete Globo.

“The fans should never forget it, just as I never will, and I felt that they showed their gratitude each day in the street.”

Over the course of the last season, Dinho spent an increasing amount of time on the sidelines and it seems that the 28-year-old has one priority when looking for a new employer.

“What I want first and foremost is to be playing again,” he insisted. “It doesn’t matter where, I want to do what I love most and that is playing football.”

With Emmanuel Adebayor distancing himself from the world champions, a move for Ronaldinho looks increasingly likely.
