| Buffon sees a strong Juve |

Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon believes his side has what it takes to topple Inter and win the Scudetto next season.
The Bianconeri have embarked on an ambitious summer of spending, signing Diego from Werder Bremen and Fabio Cannavaro from Real Madrid.
“We count on being able to assist in a more balanced championship than the last and being able to quickly annul the gap that has separated us from Inter,” Buffon wrote on his website.
“My Juventus team-mates and I who were in South Africa will add ourselves to the group in training at Pinzolo on July 16.
“We will begin with the best intentions of doing well, knowing that a long season rich with ambitious objectives awaits us.
“We have all the cards to do well. It's up to us to confirm the expectations,” he added.
Buffon then turned to Italy, who were knocked out of the Confederations Cup last week.
“For almost a week I have been enjoying myself on holiday awaiting the start of the new season.
“Unfortunately the end of the year has not been as we would have liked and as everyone hoped. The adventure in the Confederations Cup finished prematurely, but we are looking at the positive side of things.
“It's better to have made this impression now rather than at the World Cup or European Championship.
“I don't want to find too many excuses, but we didn't really arrive in an excellent physical condition, we were just 60 per cent fit.
“We need this type of competition to test the team and to identify errors that we must not commit anymore in view of the 2010 World Cup.
“Next year we will be on top and the group will be ready. The doors to La Nazionale are open and Lippi knows he can count on everyone, on us who won the World Cup three years ago, but on others too who put themselves on show,” Buffon concluded.
