| Vargas could go |

Fiorentina ace Juan Manuel Vargas could unexpectedly leave the Artemio Franchi this summer if the right offer comes in.
The Peruvian full-back joined the Viola from Catania last summer but failed to live up to expectations in his first 12 months.
The first half of his campaign was forgettable but then in the last few months of the season Cesare Prandelli switched Vargas to a left winger position which helped the player to improve his performances.
But now, with Royston Drenthe set to join the Tuscans, Vargas could often find himself on the bench and Fiorentina simply cant afford that.
Pantaleo Corvino had previously stated the Gigliati may be forced to sell one of their best players in order to strengthen their finances.
Felipe Melo, Adrian Mutu and Zdravko Kuzmanovic were all linked to several clubs but Vargas could end up being the only one to leave.
According to reports Fenerbahce have offered £11m for the left-back and offer which could hardly be turned down if the player was to agree to move to Turkey.
Fenerbahce are seriously interested. They want to replace Roberto Carlos and would be willing to offer around £12m. But before negotiating about that we want to sign Drenthe from Real, explained Corvino.
Now it will have to be seen whether Prandelli is willing to sacrifice his Peruvian pawn to increase the budget at his disposal.
