Spalletti happy at Roma
Saturday 27 June, 2009

Roma Coach Luciano Spalletti insists he is happy at the club despite uncertainty over the club's ownership.

The Giallorossi are currently up for sale and have been the subject of several takeover bids.

“I don't want to get involved in the club's problems. I am the Coach of Roma and there are directors at the club, who are working in a correct manner and looking at what we need,” Spalletti said.

“This is a club to which I owe a lot. It's my club and that's it. We have our roles and our obligations and we know very well what we can and have to do,” he concluded.

Roma endured their most disappointing year under Spalletti last season, finishing sixth in Serie A.

Some feared he would leave the Giallorossi this summer.

He was linked with Juventus and Milan, but ultimately decided to stay in the capital.
