Inter President Massimo Moratti is more confident than ever that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maicon will stay at the club this summer.
Both players have been strongly linked with a move to Spain.
Inter let it be known that they will only sell them at the top of the market.
They put a prohibitive £68m price tag on Ibra and valued Maicon, a full-back, at half that figure.
As of today there have not been any convincing proposals, Moratti said.
Earlier this week, Ibrahimovic gave an interview to Swedish newspaper Expressen in which he spoke of his desire to stay in Nerazzurro.
He also said he had taken himself off the market.
Yes, I read that interview. Even to me it seems like a rapprochement, Moratti explained.
At times it's the agents who remote control the players.
If we stay like this [with Ibrahimovic and Maicon] we are in effect very strong.
Next Moratti talked about the players who will be leaving Inter this summer.
Now we need to thin out the squad because these lads risk never playing and always being in the stands.
The problem is that there isn't a lot of money around, practically nothing, Moratti revealed.
Inter are trying to get rid of Mancini, Nelson Rivas, Victor Obinna to name but a few.
