Having spent most of the summer telling the Italian Press Goran Pandev will leave Lazio, his agent Leonardo Corsi now believes he could actually stay in the capital.
The 25-year-old Macedonia international striker has made it clear on several occasions that he wants a move that will take his career to the next level.
He has recently been linked with Juventus and Bayern Munich. However, Napoli have emerged as the No 1 contenders for his signature.
It's a difficult deal. There has not been any progress, Corsi said referring to Napoli's interest in Pandev.
As of today, it's more probable Pandev will stay rather than leave Lazio.
Given his public desire to leave, it will be interesting to see how the Biancocelesti faithful receive Pandev next season should he still be at the club.
To his credit, Pandev has always spoken of his gratitude towards Lazio, who he believes made him the player he is today.
