| Lucarelli may return to Livorno |

According to reports in Italy Cristiano Lucarelli is close to a return to his home city club Livorno, although the striker denies any negotiations.
Lucarelli left the Amaranto for Shakhtar Donetsk before joining Parma and being relegated to Serie B. Now the Livornesi are looking to sign him back.
“I read that in the newspapers but the President didn’t tell me anything,” confessed the former Torino man.
“I haven’t heard from anyone at Livorno either so I believe it is just a rumours created by the media because I haven’t had any contact what so ever.
“Furthermore, I know Nelso Ricci has just been appointed so he wouldn’t have had the time to talk to me,” concluded Lucarelli.
Both Parma and Livorno have been promoted to the top-flight this season but while the Gialloblu are looking to Robert Acquafresca in order to reinforce their attacking package, Livorno would be more than happy to welcome back their former star man.
