Jose Fuentes, the agent of Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano, believes Milan will have to pay £25m to land his client.
The Rossoneri are in the market for a target man this summer.
So far, they have focused their efforts on Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko, but the German champions are playing hardball.
Consequently, Milan are said to be considering alternatives like Fabiano and Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor.
Fabiano made quite an impression on Italian football on Sunday night when he scored two goals for Brazil in a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Italy in the Confederations Cup.
Yesterday he said it would be a dream to play for Milan alongside Ronaldinho.
Fabiano has another two years of contract and a buyout clause worth £25m. To be realistic only four or five clubs can allow themselves to pay a price of this nature, Fuentes told Radio Radio TV.
Whoever is interested can go to Sevilla. Then I can intervene and see if it's feasible.
Reacting to Fabiano's comments, Fuentes said: It's one thing to think [playing for Milan] would be a pleasure and another thing to see it effectively as the desire of the club.
Real Madrid wanted to buy Kaka and they did so. For now, Luis Fabiano only has to think about playing and doing his best.
Finally Fuentes added that higher taxes would not stop Fabiano leaving Spain for Italy.
For a player of these dimensions, this type of obstacle can be moved around with a lot of ease, he concluded.
