| Ranieri close to Zenit |

Zenit St. Petersburg are in talks with Claudio Ranieri about becoming their new Head Coach, according to Tuttosport.
The 57-year-old was fired by Juventus on May 18, but is still under contract until June 2010.
Ranieri apparently met Zenit President Aleksandr Dyukov on Friday.
He is expected to sign a two-year contract worth £2.5m a season early next week.
Juventus have taken the news well as Ranieri will break from his current deal with them.
Money that otherwise would have been allocated to him can now be put into the transfer pot.
