Catania striker Giuseppe Mascara would consider leaving if an offer from a big club were to arrive this summer.
The 30-year-old came to the world's attention last season when he scored two wonder goals.
He earned a call up to the Italy squad and made his debut against Northern Ireland on June 6.
Mascara has been linked with a move to Manchester City and Villarreal.
My priority is this. If an important proposal were to arrive that the club saw fit to evaluate, then we will see what happens, Mascara told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
For now, I am enjoying my holidays.
Reflecting on his last campaign, Mascara thanked Coach Walter Zenga, who left the club earlier this month.
Zenga did very well, he is a serious person and a professional. Gianluca Atzori is a good choice as his replacement.
I know him very well because he was an assistant to Silvio Baldini. He is competent and no fool, Mascara explained.
The former Palermo player then gave a realistic assessment of Catania's chances next year.
It's difficult to do well. We still have to consolidate ourselves at the highest level, that's this year's challenge. It's a motive to improve.
Survival is the first objective, then we will see, Mascara added.
Later on in the interview, he recalled his first cap for Italy.
To make my debut for La Nazionale was an incredible emotion. Marcello Lippi was happy. I was even more so.
More chances are opening up for us Italians because, with so many foreigners in the big teams, there is more space.
That has to be a signal for the youngsters to believe in themselves, Mascara concluded.
