| Fioranelli thinks big |

Vinicio Fioranelli, the football agent heading a Swiss consortium, would preside over an ambitious summer of spending if his takeover bid for Roma is successful.
Yesterday, Italpetroli, the company run by the Sensi family with a controlling stake in Roma, released a statement saying Fioranelli's credentials are being checked.
If he does get the all clear, Il Corriere dello Sport believes Fioranelli will make Franco Baldini his first major signing.
Baldini currently works with England, assisting Fabio Capello, but he made his name as a director of sport for Roma between 1999 and 2005.
Should Baldini return, Fioranelli would make use of his considerable expertise in the transfer market.
Baldini was also the director of sport at Real Madrid between 2006 and 2007, so he has considerable links to the Spanish giants.
Il Corriere believe such ties could be crucial in landing the likes of Wesley Sneijder and Gonzalo Higuain, who Baldini signed for Real Madrid.
Palermo and Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani is also being linked with 'Fioranelli's Roma' as is his compatriot Diego Lugano, the Fenerbahçe centre-back.
