Simone Perrotta is facing up to the prospect that he may be sold by Italian giants Roma this summer.
Signed by the outfit in August 2004 after excelling for three seasons with Chievo, Perrotta has earned himself a good reputation for his all action midfield displays.
However, although a 2006 World Cup winner, the Giallorossi are looking to rejuvenate their squad and the 32-year-old doesnt seem to be part of their plans.
With his contract set to expire in 2010, the capital giants will have to renew that this summer or sell him to avoid losing him on a Bosman in 12 months time.
Simones desire, as we have said for some period, is to remain at Roma, said agent Giuseppe Bozzo. However, we cant rule out a transfer at this stage.
We will evaluate any eventual options that we are given with Roma, but it will depend on what clubs make an approach.
