| No Italian switch for Toni |

Luca Toni will not be returning to Serie A this summer. “He’s staying at Bayern Munich,” underlined his agent.
The big Italian bomber has been associated with a number of peninsula-based sides recently, named Milan and Inter, after two successful years in the Bundesliga.
Yet in a bid to quash the mounting speculation over his client, Tulio Tinti is adamant that the former Palermo and Fiorentina hero is going nowhere.
“He is a Bayern Munich player and will continue to be,” said Tinti of the man who is currently on international duty at the Confederations Cup.
“All of these rumours have been invented and they have nothing at all to do with the reality of the situation.”
Toni, who is hoping to start in Italy’s next game against Egypt tomorrow night, is currently contracted to the German giants until June 2011.
