Inter President Massimo Moratti has confirmed that negotiations are under way with Chelsea regarding Deco and Ricardo Carvalho.
Deco has already been quoted as saying he would welcome a reunion with Jose Mourinho at San Siro, a move that has encouraged the Inter patron.
"Those comments are nice to hear," stated Moratti. "Mourinho also wants Carvalho and the negotiations are well underway. Our wish is to sign both players.
"At the end of the transfer market we will be on the same level as Barcelona and Real Madrid.
"Our four consecutive titles have increased the feelings of revenge in our rivals. We have the chance to make history now, but it's better not to talk about it.
"Mourinho and I also like Didier Drogba, and I can confirm Maicon will stay in Milan."
The two Portuguese internationals won the European Cup under Mourinho during their time at Porto and defender Carvalho followed him to Chelsea.
