Cristiano Lucarelli wont be leaving Parma this summer and has expressed his desire to play with the Ducali in the top flight.
The 34-year-old striker was reportedly unsettled at the Tardini but seems to have solved his problems with the Board and the fans, despite interest from several Serie A and B clubs.
I had a chat regarding my future just yesterday, revealed Lucarelli.
Sporting director Pietro Leonardi called me and he said that the club wants me to stay. So I believe that I will be staying at 99.9 per cent.
The former Livorno hero was linked to Fiorentina and Roma, but the Amaranto were also after him. Still he will be remaining with Parma in what is set to be a difficult return season to the top-flight.
Our President, Tommaso Ghirardi, is ambitious and will strengthen the squad in every position, said Lucarelli.
I hope he will be able to build a competitive side. Our main target will be to avoid any risks and earn survival as early as we can.
