Newspapers in Portugal claim Milan secured an overnight deal worth £13m for Porto defender Aly Cissokho.
Vice-President Adriano Galliani flew out to Oporto for the talks on Saturday and it’s believed he managed to defeat competition from Olympique Lyonnais.
According to both ‘A Bola’ and ‘O Jogo’, the Rossoneri have agreed a deal worth £13m plus a five-year contract for the player worth just under £1m per season.
As part of the transfer, Porto will receive £1m for every trophy won by Cissokho with Milan.
The Franco-Senegalese full-back can play on the right or the left and has been compared to Marcos Cafu, but will only turn 22 in September.
His ascent has been remarkable, from Ligue 2 side Gueugnon to Vitoria Setubal and in January the step up to Champions League outfit Porto.
