Croatia striker Nikola Kalinic is flattered to be linked with Palermo and dreams of playing for the Rosanero.
The 21-year-old, who plays for Hajduk Split, is widely regarded as one of the best young centre-forwards in Europe.
Slaven Bilic is a big fan and believes he is 'the future of Croatian football'.
It's true, for me, Palermo would be a dream come true, Kalinic said. I have always imagined one day playing in the Italian championship, which is one of the most important in the world.
It would be fantastic to do what Luca Toni and Amauri did at Palermo. Both established themselves in the Rosanero shirt.
I can quietly say that for me they are two of my idols. They are strikers, who inspire me, Kalinic concluded.
