Chelsea have released an official statement declaring that they have no intention of selling Frank Lampard to Inter.
The England international has been the Nerazzurris No 1 target this summer and there have been almost incessant reports that a deal is nearing completion.
Yesterday it was widely reported that Inter had tabled an offer of £7m that was under consideration.
However, in spite of Jose Mourinhos determination to lure his former charge, it seems that the West London outfit will keep hold of Lampard.
Chelsea have informed Inter that they have no intention of negotiating a deal for Lampard, a statement on the Blues website reads.
Inter are yet to make a signing this summer, but they are closing in on a deal for Roma wizard Amantino Mancini and could move for Porto star Ricardo Quaresma.
