Felipe Melo “would be happy” to join Juventus if they reached an agreement with Fiorentina, declared the Brazilian’s representative.
There are reports that the Bianconeri will turn to Melo if their bid for Udinese midfielder Gaetano D’Agostino is rejected.
“Felipe is in love with Florence and its fans, but evidently the interest from a prestigious club like Juventus, who are battling for the Scudetto and Champions League, cannot leave him indifferent,” confessed Umberto Fusco.
“If the Bianconeri directors reach an agreement with Fiorentina, then he would be happy.”
The Brazilian’s price-tag has risen following his performances for the Selecao in the Confederations Cup.
Newspapers suggest he is now worth around £20m, but the cash sum can be reduced significantly if Juventus add players in a swap deal.
The Viola are already interested in winger Marco Marchionni, while forward Michele Paolucci is another option.
