| Vargas happy in Florence |

Peruvian full-back Manuel Vargas has denied rumours regarding a move to Fenerbahce and claimed he wants to win the Scudetto with Fiorentina.
The Florence club received a ludicrous offer from the Turkish side, in the region of £13m, and were considering selling their man due to his negative season at the Franchi.
I know nothing about Fenerbahce, Vargas told La Repubblica.
I would like to continue playing for Fiorentina because my main target is to win Serie A one day.
Vargas moved to Tuscany less than 12 months ago following an impressive season at Catania. He was an expensive signing, costing £10m to prise him from the Rossoblu.
Boss Cesare Prandelli has had to switch him to a left winger position as his performances in defence were way below expectations.
But now that the Gigliati are about to sign Royston Drenthe from Real Madrid, a similar type of player to Vargas, he is considered surplus and so the chance to make a profit out of the Peruvian is an appealing one for sporting director Pantaleo Corvino.
