Thursday 24 July, 2008 | | Inters striking star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to training after recent injury problems and Adriano is ready to start against Al Hilal this evening.
Ibra was sidelined for a large part of last term with a knee problem, but he returned to seal the Scudetto with a final-day brace.
Since Euro 2008, Ibrahimovic has been resting but he returned to training this morning and undertook light work with the ball.
The Swede is hoping to be fully fit for the first day of the 2008-09 campaign.
This evening sees the Nerazzurri play their first pre-season friendly, which will be Jose Mourinhos debut on the Inter bench.
The opponents are Saudi Arabian champions Al Hilal and the game will kick off at 5pm.
A different Inter side will line up for the first and second periods. Enigmatic marksman Adriano will start in his first game for the Beneamata since October 2007.
Mourinho is likely to start with an attacking trident, playing Luis Figo on the right and Mario Balotelli on the left.
The three will be replaced at the interval by Amantino Mancini, Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo.
