Inters stars seem happy to work under Jose Mourinho, as Amantino Mancini, Douglas Maicon and Hernan Crespo have stressed their satisfaction.
After a summer of upheaval with the departure of Roberto Mancini, there had been fears that the Nerazzurri players would be unsettled.
However, pre-season training has started and there is an air of optimism amongst the Beneamata aces.
I have been here a week and I have found some exceptional lads, summer signing Mancini told Studio Sport.
This is a fantastic group and I feel at home here. The most important thing is concentration and Mourinho has instilled that.
Brazilian defender Douglas Maicon won over the Inter fans last term and became a regular starter, but he is taking nothing for granted.
We have a squad of great players, the former Monaco man declared.
Anyone who doesnt do well on the pitch will have lots of others vying for their place.
There is great competition and that means that whoever plays must do well.
There had been suggestions that Crespo would leave Inter after his frustration at starting few games under Mancini last term and he was reportedly a target for Roma.
It never crossed my mind to leave Inter, the Argentine hitman insisted.
And then Mourinho had good words to say about me and that ended any chance of me leaving.
I will always work hard to earn as many minutes on the pitch as I can. I am calm because I am part of a great squad and there will be space for everyone.
